Un Recorrido por la Ciudad más Antigua de España y Europa (a tour of the oldest city in Spain, and Europe)

The family told me all about the Cariz we went to travel to while at the beach house. It was about 30 minutes from the beach and they said it was the OLDEST city in Europe. It has only one entrance! It is surrounded by the Atlantic ocean and is almost "fenced" in from boats coming in.

Rocio (the mom) grew up here and she told me about the garden (down below) where her and her siblings used to play.

It was pretty chilly that day. Especially with the wind coming off of the water. oooooh

The church where Rocio's parents got married! It was beautiful inside.... however all my pictures are dark and sideways/: But! Rocio continually said "luxury luxury" and I could clearly see what she meant by all the gold, silver, and stained glass.

Here is a monument in what Cariz calls it's "Spain Square"

A reallyyyy old theater in Cariz

  1. How romantic. How many people live there?

  2. I'm not sure, there was a lot of traffic at night. Plus, a TON of people where we went out to eat.
